An organization comprised of youth and led by Reverend William Moses in New Brunswick, NJ collected over 40,000 books in an 18 month period. The youth organized a trailer and shipped books, supplies and bikes to South Africa to coincide with ‘Freedom Day.’ ‘Freedom Day’ is the anniversary of democratic general elections in South Africa. The film shows the teens from New Jersey and South Africa exploring their commonalities and differences in educational opportunities through video conference discussions facilitated by Rutgers University, with the help of the Governor’s Office of Volunteerism and friends from the United Nations.
